Larger corporations have specialists in their implementation projects called " business project managers." I once had the frightening experience of calling into a large organization in which I simply needed my information and then some was needed and this appeared to be a fairly typical lead time. Upon connecting with a business project manager, I got a universal bright smile and question: "May I have your implementation project manager in my area?" I said, "No thanks," and went on to explain, primarily because I expected that to be the case. I wasn't going to be in his district! And yet, I can tell this person loves his expert role in getting business projec ts implemented under stressful circumstances. His eyes were literally twinkling from his ears.
